Delta changes may aid airport
POCATELLO -- Changes to Delta Air Lines' service could mean significant improvements and make Pocatello Regional Airport more attractive to potential customers, an airport official said.
Next summer, Delta is adding 15 new international routes to its service, including 12 destinations not currently serviced by a U.S.-based airline, according to release from the city of Pocatello. Delta has also made an alliance with Alaska Airlines that will more easily connect Delta customers with Alaska's routes to Mexico and Alaska. "These changes will make travel on Delta, and from Pocatello, even more attractive than before," said David Allen, PRA manager, in the release.
Allen said recent changes to Delta's customer service, which include implementation of time-saving technology both at the ticket counter and on the airline's Web site, give added appeal. Delta SkyWest Airlines is currently the only passenger service to and from Pocatello Regional Airport.
The airline has four daily flights between Pocatello and Salt Lake City. By Journal Staff
