POLICE DEPARTMENT NOT ASSOCIATED WITH ALERT PUBLICATIONS

Department Does Not Have Agreement with Company

Captain Rick Capell announced today that the Pocatello Police Department has not entered into any agreements to work with Alert Publications. The department felt it necessary to clarify this after receiving calls from local businesses that have been contacted by Alert Publications.
According to Captain Capell, the department received only a preliminary telephone call from Alert Publications about their drug abuse publications and programs. However, the department has not had further contact with the company and has not entered into an agreement or understanding.

Captain Capell did confirm that L.A.W. Publications has supplied drug abuse materials for the department in the past and is currently contacting businesses in Pocatello about their products.
