POCATELLO -- Idaho State University will lower the flag to honor Flo Gallagher, the wife of former Idaho State University interim President Mike Gallagher, on the day of her funeral, said spokesman Graham Garner.

ISU President Arthur Vailas said the university community was shocked by the tragic and sudden loss. He described Flo Gallagher as an enthusiastic, optimistic, good-natured and a highly regarded educator in her own right.

"Even after so many years away, she is remembered at ISU with personal affection and high professional regard," Vailas said.

Final arrangements have not yet been announced.
