Child's outlook good
POCATELLO -- A sofa and loveseat are pushed together, the pastel floral upholstery barely visible through a layer of smoke and soot. The nearby picture window is shattered from the intense heat.

Plastic bags containing anything salvageable are piled atop the furniture, as Tami West attempts to itemize the things her family lost in an Oct. 4 house fire in Pocatello.
