Story: Mustangs wideout Ramses Barden collects a Holt Arena-record 268 receiving yards, and Cal Poly quarterback Jonathan Dally throws for 453 yards and five touchdowns. Dally also runs for 119 yards and a score. Key stat: First downs - Cal Poly 28, ISU 12
Weber State 52, Idaho State 37 Date: Nov. 3, 2007
Site: Stewart Stadium, Ogden, Utah Story: Trevyn Smith runs for 115 yards and three touchdowns for the Wildcats, who become the second straight team to scorch the Bengals for more than 580 yards of offense. Eddie Thompson catches 11 passes for 145 yards and a score.

Site: Hornet Stadium, Sacramento, Calif. Story: Josh Barnett break's ISU's career rushing record, but Bryan Hilliard steals the day. He runs for 243 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Hornets, who beat the Bengals for the third straight season. Key stat: Time of possession -- ISU 25:15, SSU 34:45 Boise State 49, Idaho State 7 Date: Aug. 30, 2008 Site: Bronco Stadium, Boise Story: Idaho State hangs with its in-state foe early, but Boise State distances itself with three second-quarter touchdowns. Thompson starts the season with 10 catches, two-thirds of Hill's completions in the game. Key stat: Passing yards -- ISU 92, BSU 352 Idaho 42, Idaho State 27 Date: Sept. 6, 2008 Site: Kibbie Dome, Moscow Story: A blocked punt and a 77-yard pass give Idaho a 14-0 lead just six minutes into the game. The 35-7 halftime lead is too deep for a revived Idaho State offense, paced by Thompson's single-game school-record 17 catches.
