South fork ramps to be closed
IDAHO FALLS -- Oct. 9 the Bureau of Land Management will repaint lines and directional arrows at Byington and Conant boat ramps on the South Fork of the Snake River. That means the ramps will be closed for at least half the day.

People are encouraged to use Wolf Flats or Heise Bridge instead of the Byington ramp and to use Spring Creek instead of Conant boat ramp. Conant should be open to the public after 1 p.m., and Byington will be the entire day of Oct. 9.

For more information, call the BLM office in Idaho Falls at 524-7500.
