Mayors wager bet on game
Pocatello Mayor Roger Chase and Grand Forks (N.D.) Mayor Michael Brown have agreed to a friendly wager on tonight's football game between Idaho State and North Dakota.

Each mayor is offering the winner a sack of potatoes from his respective region. If the Bengals win, Brown will send a sack of red potatoes -- a North Dakota specialty -- to Chase's Pocatello office; if the Fighting Sioux win, Chase has promised Brown a sack of the best Idaho russets he can find.

"He'd better send along some butter with those potatoes, because I hear they're pretty dry," Brown said by phone from Grand Forks.
"He just doesn't know what a good baked potato is," Chase said by phone. "Lots of Idaho butter and sour cream."

Kickoff is set for 6:35 p.m. at Holt Arena.
