Old Town Pocatello, Inc. is pleased to announce a brand new event coming to Pocatello this summer. The first Poker Ride at the Pavilion will be held on Saturday, June 7th from 10:00am to 10:00pm at the Old Town Pavilion. Kick off your summer exercise program with a fun twist. Mountain bikers, runners and hikers are invited to complete one of three courses. Cash prizes will be awarded. Throughout the event, there will be great swag bags and raffle drawings, food and refreshments, fun activities for the kids including a kid's race and face painting, plus a bike rodeo, limbo, bike toss and log pull. In addition, bicycle shop representatives and health-minded experts will be on hand for demos and giveaways.

Participants should plan to stay for the afternoon when the entire community is invited to enjoy the Showcase of Local Talent with bands playing from 2:00 to 10:00pm. What a great way to wind down after the morning excursion. Scheduled to perform are Greybeard, Nyr Lif, Spittin' Lynt, Bleeding Westward, QS, Somewhere in the Middle, Greyhouse Effect, and Miles James! Thank you to Ball Brothers Music for arranging the entertainment.

This is truly a one of a kind family-friendly event filled with fun, food, music and friends.
