Blackfoot Community Week set
BLACKFOOT - The Blackfoot Community Center, 157 W. Sexton, will have its first Blackfoot Community Week March 1 through 8. Activities include games, music, dancing, crafts, food and more.

March 1 will be ballroom dancing from 10 a.m. to noon. Learn basic steps for the cha cha, swing, waltz and foxtrot. Cost is $8 per person or $15 per couple if preregistered, $10 each or $20 a couple at the door. More information is available by calling instructor Diane Smith at 785-2878.

Also March 1 will be the 'Tween Dance Party from 7 to 9 p.m. for youth in grades six through eight. Cost is $2 at the door, and concessions will be available. This will be a fun event of dancing to music favorites, eating munchies, mingling with friends and meeting new people.
March 3 will be Family Fun Night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Enjoy organized activities celebrating family unity with games, music, crafts and refreshments. Donations at the door will be accepted.

March 4 will be Youth Night from 7 to 8:30 p.m., and all area youth ages 12 to 18 are invited along with their youth leaders. There will be pizza and beverages. Donations will be accepted at the door.
March 7 will be Parents Night Out from 6 to 10 p.m. This is for parents to enjoy a ''date night'' while the children are busy with other activities at the center. There will be group games.

March 8 will have a Family Flea Market Fling from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with set-up at 7 a.m. Community residents are invited to buy and sell new, used, hand-crafted and bake sale items. Space is limited, so make reservations now.
