Jimmy Eat World coming
POCATELLO - Alternative rock band Jimmy Eat World and Grammy nominated Paramore will be performing at the Idaho State University Holt Arena on Saturday, April 12.

Jimmy Eat World has had eight top 10 hits since its formation in 1993, including ''Sweetness,'' ''Big Casino,'' ''Pain,'' and ''Work.'' In 2007 the band released its sixth studio album, ''Chase the Light.''

Paramore was voted ''Best Band of 2007'' by Alternative Press magazine and is featured on the cover of this month's issue. The band was recently nominated for a Grammy for ''Best New Artist.'' They have two albums, ''All We Know Is Falling'' and ''Riot!'' ''Riot!'' went gold and features the hit singles ''Misery Business'' and ''Crushcrushcrush.''
Tickets are $30 or $34, depending on the seat, and will go on sale on Saturday, Feb. 23, at CD World in Idaho Falls and Budget Tapes and Record in Pocatello. The show is being produced by Visual Sound Productions.
