POCATELLO - Idaho State University's 20th annual jazz festival is slated for this coming weekend and will include the university's own Jazz I Big Band and several local high school groups as well as one special guest.

The Pat Tillotson Trio will headline ISU's Jazz Festival 2008, performing Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center. Tickets for the show are $10 each for the general public, $5 each for ISU faculty and staff, and $3 each for ISU students.

The festival continues on Saturday when the ISU Jazz I Big Band will play at 7:30 p.m. also at the Jensen Grand Concert Hall. Tickets for Saturday's show are $5 each for the general public, $3 each for ISU faculty and staff, and $2 each for ISU students.

Several regional high schools, including Pocatello, Highland and Century high schools, will host clinics from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall, during which each of the 10 high school bands will play three songs. Admission for the clinics is free.
