POCATELLO - Pocatellan Richard Mercogliano, 64, was arrested after firing a gun inside his apartment Sunday evening.

Nobody was hurt, but the incident is still under investigation, police said.

According to Lt. Marchand of the Pocatello Police Department, Mercogliano fired a single shot while inside his apartment on 1120 McKinley Avenue.

There are several different offenses that Mercogliano could be charged with, Marchand said, but he couldn't give any more details as of Wednesday night.
