It should be mostly sunny and windy in the afternoon, with gusts up to 40 mph. Highs should be 21 to 28 degrees today. Tonight should be mostly cloudy and colder. Lows should be 12 to 19 degrees with light winds.
One inch of snow could fall early Saturday in the valleys of Southeast Idaho, while two inches could fall in the mountains. Highs will be 24 to 31 degrees. Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected. The chance of precipitation is 50 percent for additional snow Saturday night. Lows of 14 to 21 degrees are expected. Winds could gust up to 30 mph Saturday evening.
On Sunday, there's a 50 percent chance that more snow will fall. Highs will be 29 to 36 degrees. The chance of rain/snow is 40 percent.
Sunday night. Lows will be 16 to 26 degrees, with winds of up to 25 mph. The weather service says that temps will increase early next week but will plunge to the single digits later in the week. There could also be some major snowfall heading into next weekend in Southeast Idaho.
